We are three weeks out from our wedding and nothing has been bought off our registry 🙁 But I usually shop the week of personaly.

Also, I think a lot of people will give money at the wedding if they already purchased a gift for your shower.

Where I’m from (Chicago) its more customary to get registry items for showers and cash for weddings so maybe don’t be surprised if that happens.. also, yeah- people will prob go shopping the day/week before for your gifts I would imagine

We already received three wedding gifts. I had a shower, so things have been bought off our registry for a while. But I noticed that new things have been purchased after the shower, too.

We received things off our registry for the shower but everything for the actual wedding was money, checks, or gift cards.

I agree with iheartnerds – I think most people will probably just give you money.  Me, personally, I only buy gifts off the registry for the shower and give money at the wedding.

I agree with PP too. For the last wedding I went to I asked where their registry was and then put it off and put it off and ended up just giving them cash instead. It was much easier.
