@SweetDeeReynolds:  Growing up my family always had a rule… you cannot play Christmas music until Santa goes by on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. So at Noon on Thanksgiving day we start rockin the Christmas music lol

I am Jewish so I don’t celebrate Christmas. Hence, I never bust out the x-mas music! However, I think the norm around here is pretty much right after Halloween – leading into Thanksgiving!

I’ll admit .. I turned it on Spotify the other day while working. It just instantly lifts my spirits. But I’ll REALLY start listening the beginning of November. I just don’t think one month is enough!

My SO thinks I’m insane. He will have nothing to do with Christmas until after Thanksgiving.

@SweetDeeReynolds:  A radio station in my listening area played X-mas carols on June 25, as it was the 6 month mark ’till X-mas…. Yes, I listened all day. It was refreshing.

Never.  I don’t like Christmas, and I abhor Christmas music.

I’d love to build something to kill speakers while I’m out shopping.

Sometimes I listen to it whenever I want, but typically my family starts playing it after Thanksgiving.

The night before, if I have my way. It’s not that I don’t like Christmas music, but I get so tired of hearing the same songs repeated 3x a day from the start of November. Seriously, KESZ 99.9 here in Phoenix used to start the day after Thanksgiving, now it’s after Halloween. Plus the stores are starting earlier and earlier. Going into five stores in a day and hearing at least two of the same song in each one…I can’t handle it. But that’s true of ANY music, not just Christmas music. So I try to minimize the crazy as much as possible and start listening the night before.

Unless I’m with my mom. In which case she has it on from the day it starts on the radio.

We like it to be special so we wait until after Thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving, which is also the day we get our tree, and we leave it up until after New Years!
