I always wear mine. It’s a very wide band that fits snugly so no chance it can fall off, and it’s a bit difficult to take off. (In my previous marriage I wore my enagagement and wedding rings through everything for 25 years – pools, hot tubs, beaches etc. with no damage at all) My e-ring now is sapphires, diamonds, white & yellow gold. I clean my ring almost every day with windex and a soft baby toothbrush. I’ll wear both rings when I have the band through everything. However, I will probably ask for a plain band for when we may travel to sketchy places just for security sake.

@Broken Biscuit: in high crime area you can spin the stone around so it looks like a plain band

Maybe I’m the only one, but I don’t wear mine to work. Don’t want the attention and questions and judging.

I used to wear mine all the time, but now that it needs to be buffed and polished I’m a little more careful even though I’ve worn it every day for two years.
I take it off when I’m cooking, cleaning, working out and showering. Sometimes I leave it off when I go to bed if I forget to put it back on after a shower or something.

I take mine off to shower, use lotion, sleep (bugs me plus my hands swell) and also when I am cooking something messy, cleaning or using paint or glue for an order in my Etsy shop. I wear them whenever I leave the house though, even to the beach. I do have a stand-in but I just got the set of my dreams less than 2 weeks ago just before our wedding so I can’t bear to not wear them when I am out and about!

cooking, cleaning, swimming or when I’m running a half marathon or longer in distance (sweat, gatorade and rings aren’t a good combination).

I take mine off before I shower, swim, put lotion on, clean with harsh chemicals, sleep, cook anything messy, etc.

I only put it on if I’m leaving the house. It’s almost 100 years old and belonged to my great-grandmother, so I prefer to give it as few chances to get hurt as possible.

If I’m home, my rings are usually in my ring holder next to the bed. I put them on before I leave the house.

When I’m racing (running)- I fear reaching into my pocket for GU and losing my ring during a marathon. My fingers get skinnier the more I dehydrate.

I really only wear my ring when I leave the house.
