How is it normally done-Are you usually asked to pay 100% when ordering the dress? Or do you pay when it comes in?

I paid the deposit (1/2 down) to put the dress on hold so that I could use the 10% off deal they had that month. Once I paid the rest, they officially ordered the dress.
I paid 50% and I will pay the remaider when the dress arrives!
I paid 1/2 of the total for the deposit and then the other half when the dress came in before I could get alterations done.
At my bridal store I paid 60% at the time of order. When my dress comes in, I have a set timeline to pay the remainder. Only until I pay it off do I get the dress.
Half to order it and the rest when it arrives. I am doing that and making small payments so its not all due when it gets in:)
I had to pay 100% when I ordered mine. It was during a trunk show and 20% off, but I don’t think that had anything to do with it…just their policy because so many brides change their mind.
It depends on the bridal store. My bridal salon had me pay 50% when they ordered it and then I paid the remaining 50% the first time I went to try it on
I paid 100% when I ordered the dress. It all depends on the bridal store’s policies as some allow payment options over a lump sum.
I was lucky and bought the sample of my dress so the store just let me put down what I could afford. I just made payments whenever I wanted. I just had to have it paid off before starting alterations.
Every store I went to required 1/2 down to order it and then the rest due before alterations.
My bridal store asked for it to be paid up front but I refused and agreed to pay 50% abe the. The remainder on delivery.
I paid 50% when I ordered and will pay the remaining when the dress comes in!
