I got a call from a staff member at our church – she wants to schedule our rehearsal. Problem is, I’m not sure when you are supposed to do that. Is it supposed to be a week before, or the day before?
I will not have a bridal party, just a maid of honor and best man. Problem is, my maid of honor, my sister, lives in Florida – as do my parents. They will not be coming proabably until the day before my wedding. Do they need to be at the rehearsal???? (especially if there is not much to rehearsal)
Sorry if I sound clueless! Help!

Yes, the rehearsal is usually the day before. Then traditionally you’d have a rehearsal dinner afterward. It makes sense to practice the day before so you don’t forget what to do AND all important people will probably be in town by then.

I think the day before is usually when it is. Our church has it two nights before. Around here, I think it usually goes rehearsal and then rehearsal dinner (also called groom’s dinner, I think).
We’re also having just the maid of honor and best man! 🙂

I think ‘traditionally’ they are the day before 🙂 But to me it seems like it would be ideal to make it 2 days before 🙂
