I know you people are suckers for a good poll, so I had no choice but to oblige. 😉
So people have called me weird. I love showering when I get home in the afternoon. I like doing it before bed (I hate sleeping with wet hair) and I hate doing it in the morning (I don’t like going to bed dirty and I prefer to roll out of bed and go to work). So I do it when I get home from work/the gym and people give me weird looks.
How about you? Morning? Evening? 4am in a thunderstorm?

i seriously shower like 3 times a day. i don’t care if it’s bad for my hair (i have so much of it anyway, i don’t give a fuck). i shower once in the morning and once before i go to sleep. sometimes i shower in between, especially during the summer time.

@MrsFutureG: depends on the day and my mood. If I’m going to be out all day, first thing in the morning. If I know I’ll be sitting around at home the next day, I’ll shower the night before.

I shower at night, which is usually after I work out anyway. I don’t have enough time to shower in the morning, and it would add SO much times to my getting ready time if I did decide to shower then. I also don’t really ever sleep with wet hair. I usually only wash my hair a couple of times a week since my hair doesn’t need to be washed very often.

For sure in the morning.
sometimes a quick one after exercising or at night if I feel grimy.

I usually shower when I wake up, unless I go to the gym, then I will shower twice. If I do shower after the gym, I don’t shower the following morning. And I wash my hair every day as well. I was shocked when I found out that some people only washed their hair like once a week!

I actually… bath. (Which is unfortunately worse for the environment… i think? I’m not sure about the gallons difference).
I do it at night before I go to bed. It’s not just to be clean, but my combined cleansing/relaxing/spa time/put me in the mood for teh zzzs ritual. I… really enjoy my baths.
If I really don’t have time I’ll do a shower and it’ll be fast because I’m not really into showers.

I was my hair every other day, but I shower every night. I am a horse person so for me it makes sense to shower after the barn, not before going there in the am 🙂

@MrsFutureG: Generally I shower in the morning. My hair gets crazy (I sleep weird) and look awful by morning.
I wish I could shower at night and still look presentable in the morning, but it just doesn’t happen. I’m not a morning person at ALL so believe me.. I’ve tried showering at night.
I only shower at night if it’s super hot (like sweaty summer heat) or I work out or go swimming… then I stil shower in the morning.

For me it really depends on what I have going on. I usually shower at night just before going to bed, especially in the winter (it sucks having to go out in the freezing cold with wet hair), but sometimes stuff will happen that will make me want to shower at different times.
If FI and I are going out somewhere after work I might shower in the morning so that I’m a little fresher. I don’t wash my hair every day (usually only 4 days a week) so if FI and I are going out say on a Friday and I didn’t wash my hair on Thursday I’ll take a shower when I get home or before we go out and wash my hair. I have physio on Monday mornings before work and they have me do a work out while I’m there, so I shower Monday mornings now rather than Sunday nights.

@joya_aspera: I’m sure baths are better than my 20 minute hot showers!

Always in the morning, I can’t leave the house without a shower. Most nights I shower again, unless I’m like dead tired.

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
I normally shower at night before bed, but most of the time I also shower in the morning or at least before leaving the house. If I exercise in the afternoon, I’ll take a shower then also.

@MrsFutureG: I’ve switched to showering at night now because it seems to be the easiest for me. My hair is pretty curly so after I get out of shower, I comb it and put some gel in it and just go to bed with it wet. When I wake up in the morning it looks good like I styled it. So it saves me the 20 minutes or so of blow drying it. I also tend to workout at night so that’s another reason.

In the morning & in the evening after a work out.
