I take my e-ring off when I put on lotion, when I’m doing dishes, and if I’m cooking with my hands. My wedding band is very simple, so when I’m finally wearing that (less than 6 months!) I’ll probably NEVER take it off.

I only take my e-ring off when I shower, coook or put on lotion/hair products

Like many other bees, I take mine off to shower (because it is slightly too big) or any time there is a chance of something less than desirable getting underneath the diamond (meat, cookie dough, etc…)

I take mine off to shower, while I’m cooking or cleaning.

I take mine off when I put on lotion and once in a while when I am sleeping and my fingers swell.

I usually wear gloves when I’m cleaning with chemicals or washing the dishes so I’ll leave it on.

I take my e-ring off all the time, for the same reason others have mentioned above: shower, dishes, lotion, gym, etc. It really gets in the way and so easily greased up (it’s an emerald cut with a large, flat plane that shows every finger print). I imagine that I’ll always wear my wedding band, though.

I take my Engagement Ring off every night before bed. I put it in its little box every time so I don’t misplace it. If I don’t take it off before bed I wake up with ring marks all over my face.

I really don’t wear my e-ring much anymore… I used to take it off every night when I went to bed, for biking, lotion, washing my face, brushing my teeth, working with meat, etc. I do the same with my wedding ring now, but I sleep with it on. It is so much easier to wear just a flat band with no annoying sticking up gemstone, much as I love my e-ring!

I’m not married yet, still engaged. But I never take my ring off, unless I’m putting lotion on. And in the mornings. My fingers swell in the morning, and it hurts, so bad!

I take mine off when I shower, wash my face, put lotion on, and when I am cleaning.  I feel like all the chemicals are bad for it but its probably fine!

My e-ring comes off to shower, anytime I’m in water and at bedtime. Our jewler said that bed is very important removal time as the prongs could get caught in covers and blankets and over time that could lead to disaster 🙁

I take mine off when I shower, do dishes, and put on lotion. Otherwise it’s glued to my finger!

I leave it on, always. The only time I have not worn it is while river rafting (the river had already claimed 2 friends’ rings), and I left it at home. I feel like the safest place it can be is on my finger.

I never take my rings off except to clean them! And sometimes if I am using free weights at the gym because it hurts my hand to have them on. But showering, sleeping, lotion, dishes…everything else I leave it on because I don’t want to lose it.

I just have an ering. But I have another band that I wear when I am at work! I am to scared to wear my Ering at work. I am afraid I will hit it, or it get stuck on something, or rip my gloves etc… So I wear the band at work on the ambulance and the Bling for when I am at home, and then I only take it off for washing dishes/cooking, showering and lotions!
