I wear my 1ct diamond/yellow gold for all activites- showering, lotion, washing, cooking, working out. I clean it once a week. But I am of the mindset that I’m not going to be given something so beautiful and never wear it! Plus, I feel it’s more likely to get lost/stolen off my hand.

I only wear them when I go out.  Not around the house.

When I am out I don’t take them off til I get home.

I take mine off when I shower, sleep, clean, and sometimes when I’m cooking, depending on what I’m cooking. I don’t want to touch it to raw meat or anything like that. I leave it on at the gym since I’m scared to leave it in my locker (even with the lock) but if I was working out at my apartment’s gym I would consider taking it off, though I don’t like leaving it unattended, even in my apartment (I think I’m kind of overly anxious about losing it). As for washing hands, I’ve just been going for it. I feel like it’s unavoidable for it to get water/soap on it since I’m wearing it almost all the time!

Lol I guess i take mine off all the time. Mostly for sleeping since my hands swell up at night. Also for cleaning, cooking, exercise, etc, and when I go fishing. I’d be so sick if I flung it in the lake on accident lol!

I take it off when I’m sleeping or showering. I don’t put it on in the morning until I’m done applying lotions, perfumes, etc. And because my job is hard on my hands I wear a stand-in at work. I don’t take my rings off when I wash my hands. Oh, and I take it off when I do hot yoga!

beetruz13:  Same! It’s off as soon as I get home. My poor fiancé only gets to really see it when we’re not home lol lol

I take it off as soon as I get home. I wear various pieces of jewelry when I’m out and about on a daily basis without a problem, but it’s like as soon as I get home it all becomes instantly uncomfortable.

I take mine off to wash dishes or clean with chemicals, I take it off for the gym only if I’m lifting weights, and I take it off to swim/kayak. Otherwise it is always on. When mine was too big when I first got it I wore it with a smaller ring in front to keep it on. Just bought a five dollar one from Claire’s!

i never take mine off when I’m out and about, only of I’m home so I can put it in the safe.

I take it off for working out because it’s dangerous for the activities I do and sleeping.  Since I shower in the morning normally, the ring is already off so I rarely shower with it on.  You definitely don’t need to take it off to wash your hands!  Sometimes public washroom soap cleans rings nicely! I always find the soap in Starbucks washrooms really gives a good sparkle !

perfect example as to why I rarely if ever take my rings off. So today I take my rings off and put them in my pocket to do some planting. Little did I know that I had a small hole in the pocket that I put them in. I put my engagement ring, and 2 bands in there. And so after I was done I went to put them back on and only the 2bands were in there. Somewhere in the yard my engagement ring was laying because it fell through the hole. I even dug the plant back up and retraced my steps. My husband came and helped and thankfully after only 20 mins of looking I found it. But that is why I hardly ever take mine off 😊

acw2016:  oh dear, you can wash your hands normally! once you get a little more used to the ring being there you won’t baby it that much. I take mine off for playing softball, sleeping, most of the time for showering, cleaning, painting, and cooking anything that I need to mix with my hands.
