I never took mine off until recently… it sticks up so high it wakes me up when it pulls on the sheets or pillow, so now I take it off at night… but I leave it on for hand washing/ dishes/ cleaning/ in the pool/ everywhere.

I usually only take it off for showering (I get paranoid about the soap causing it to slip off and it ending up down the drain), washing my hands at home or cleaning. Very occasionally I will take it off at night if I feel like my fingers are swelling.

When I’m applying lotion, cleaning with bleach or other chemicals, cooking something messy & lately showering. Otherwise it stays on.

I leave mine on all the time except for when I’m doing something like making pasta or other doughs. I’d just hate to have to try and pick it all out of my ring. I don’t generally bother taking it off with harsh chemicals since I work with chemicals pretty much all day. I’d never be able to wear it if I did that.

As soon as I get home from work, it goes right in my jewelry box.

Pretty much just take it off when I shower

I take it off when Im doing any work outside, cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house. However, I think I am going to start taking it off more. I just got it cleaned the other day and haven’t put it back on yet because it is SO sparkly and if I wear it a lot it gets dirty and dull and I hate that!

I take it off as soon as I get home from work, and put it back on as soon as I’m finished getting ready in the morning. I don’t wear it when I clean, cook, swim or go to the gym because it already gets banged around enough as it is.
When we were first engaged I loved wearing it, but it was really unwieldy and uncomfortable to wear. Now it feels like I left the house w/o my pants or something if I don’t have it on. She’s my baby and I want to keep her nice and pretty for years to come!

I take my e-ring off the minute I get home, and put it on only when I am leaving the house. It’s a combination of being worried something will happen when doing dishes/showering/etc, and just being more comfortable without it on, because it has a fairly high profile that likes to get caught on clothes and hair.
I wear my wedding band 24/7, however. I think I have taken it off once since we got married. It is just a plain gold band though, with no diamonds, which I purposely picked for this very reason.

I take my ring off to shower, clean, wash dishes and put on lotion.

I only take mine off when I shower, and put it back on after I’m done getting ready (because I don’t want it getting into my goopy lotions/makeup/hair wax). Other than that it’s on all the time.

I take mine off to shower, clean, cook, etc., so it’s usually off when I’m at home.
Never leave the house without it, though!

I really only take mine off to shower or if I’m cooking and have to mix something with my hands (like ground meat or dough or something)… Otherwise I workout with it on, work with horses with it on, sleep etc.
When I first got it thought I took it off to work, working around horses it really isn’t all that safe to wear jewelry in general, but I’ve worn rings while riding/working with horses for years so I decided to start wearing it… ::knock on wood:: nothing happens. Although if I know it’s going to be a rough day (young horses, spooky horses etc.) I usually take it off and leave it in the car, not so much for the safety of my ring but for the safety of my finger!

I take my ring off all the time. Pretty much, if I am at home, my ring will be off. I also don’t wear it to work depending on the kid I have that day (I don’t want to scratch them if it’s a child that I will have to use physical control). So, I mostly just wear it if I’m going out somewhere in the evening or weekend.

As soon as I get home I put it back in the box that it came in. I don’t wear it once I’m home. I’m surprised so many others do this…people I know act like I’m strange for doing this.
