I personally want my last kid to be conceived and ready to pop out before 35. I’m turning 31 in September and although I’ve been a fencesitter myself for the past years (leaning towards having them but would have been perfectly ok just my husband and myself) I’m now wanting kids (two I think) more than ever. We are definitely waiting a bit longer considering I recently started a new job that’s very demanding and that’s requires me to travel. So ever since ‘having to wait’ I’ve been dreaming of babies and wanting a family so badly!

If you had asked me when I was 20, I would have said anything over 30.  At 25, the cutoff would have been 35.  By my early 30s, I would have said around 37.

But… life happened.  I didn’t get married until 37.  Then I had two miscarriages, and the latter was a partial molar so the protocol took me through my 39th birthday.  If it happens in the next few years and I don’t miscarry I’d be over the moon, age be damned.  But at this age, maturity and realism set in. It might not happen, because I’m old. Life doesn’t always match the perfect model and plan in your head, huh?
