I believe I wet it before and after… If not after, then definitely before. I’ve never really put much thought into it.  I always brush a long time too, like making sure I’ve used all the toothpaste I put on… And always rinse my entire toothbrush really well after. lol

I don’t know what DH does, but I do know that he’s a lot quicker and rougher when he brushes his teeth, and he doesn’t rinse his toothbrush handle well after, it grosses me out.  And he brushes really hard so his toothbrushes wear out really fast, like splayed bristles and such.  It can’t be good.

I grab the toothbrush, put toothpaste on it, and then wet it.

    Interesting question haha.

After toothpaste. It’s too dry otherwise.

@canarydiamond:  +1, that’s what I do too. I’ve never noticed what my husband does. I will have to ask him, lol.

I live in the Great Lakes State.  Water conservation is foriegn to us.  I wet my toothbrush before and after I apply toothpaste, and leave the water running while I brush my teeth.

    I also love cheese.

I used to do before and after but I noticed that my DH did it after so I tried that and it stuck…such a weird question but I love it!   Lol
