livcee:  Im 13+3 and I have days that it is visible but I think if I was committed to  wearing concealing clothing I could still be hiding it. I’m really looking forward to my bump making an appearance! I just look like I have a food baby right now.

It really depends on your body…I am very thin and didn’t start to show until I was at least 6 months along.  And it was very small. I had a co-worker that was showing more than me when she was 3 months along and I was 7 months along.  By the time I was 8.5 months, people told me I looked like I was just starting to show.  I delivered a perfect and healthy baby girl weighing 7 lbs 1 ounce.

I felt like it was “pudging” out a bit at 16 weeks, yet still easily hide-able, but “popped” at 19 wks.

Really depends on your body. I felt huge but most people didn’t really notice until I was 20+ weeks. I’m a pretty average body type, size 8 pants.

I’m almost 25 weeks and my bump is still missing! I’m pretty petite 5’3 and 115 pre-preg but she’s still hiding. I figured I’d have a nice round bump by now and am kinda bummed about it. I’m still able to hide the fact and while my stomach isn’t flat anymore it’s just thickened out my midsection and rib area. My doctor even said if she hadn’t seen baby girl on the ultrasound and had healthy measurments she wouldn’t believe me either

It’s different for everyone. During my first pregnancy, I showed around 18-20 weeks. I’m 8 weeks with my second and I’m already showing a bit.

I’m 17 weeks now and the bump was more noticeable starting around a week ago. It’s weird but it also seems to be bigger later in the day than first thing in the morning.

livcee:  I had a pouch that just made me look fat for the first 15wks, then it got a little bigger, where you could tell maybe I was pregnant? lol but at 25wks it definitely came in.

livcee: It’s so different for everyone! I had a tiny bump by 19 weeks but it would have been easy to hide with baggy tops until closer to 25 weeks. I’m 5’3″ and was 118 pounds pre-pregnancy.

I started to see it around 9-10 weeks, friends and family could see it by 12 weeks, and I had strangers congratulating me around 16-17 weeks.  I’m 5’4″ and was a size 8 pre-preg.  A lot of it depends on your build – I have a short torso, so there was nowhere for the baby to go but out (and I was HUGE by the end).

As people have said, so much depends on your body — not just height/weight/torso shape but also uterus position. Mine is tilted pretty far back normally, so it has taken me a little while to start showing. I’m 17 weeks and it really wasn’t until last week that I started to see an actual bump, and I bet it will be another few weeks before it becomes really noticeable to others.

I’m 22 weeks and I’ve had a pregnant stomach for a while but it’s only really now developing into a “bump”. It’s still not obvious all the time (I have to be wearing certain clothes for it to be even remotely noticable) and I have yet to have someone ask me if I am expecting apart from people who’ve heard.

I am quite small in stature so that’s probably why. Everyone is different. My friend was showing at 9 weeks.

jenm2be:  Glad it’s not just me. I was hoping to be more “pregnant” now at 22 weeks but her measurements are healthy so I’m not too worried. In a way it’s a nice thing because I already feel awkward and cumbersome with my movements so I dread to think what it’ll be like later!

I thought I looked pregnant at 16 weeks because I was used to a flat stomach, but looking back now I didn’t really have a baby bump until 20+ weeks.

17 weeks:

20 weeks:

24 weeks:

I’m 5’5″ and a size 6-8
