(Closed) When does an outstanding RSVP become a "not attending"

anonybee0810:  It can be dangerous to default to “not attending”. A few days after the rsvp deadline (to allow time for the mail), I would divide up the list of non responders in whatever manner makes sense,  and tell them you need a response otherwise they will be considered a “no”.

I would try to contact the people who haven’t replied yet (annoying I know!) just so you can be more sure of your final number. Let them know that if they don’t reply by X date you’re taking it as a ‘not attending’. Leave a message, send an email, whatever you can.
