Hi Bees! I’m new to this! I’ve tried looking up this information but all I can gather is that CM during ovulation is noticeably egg-like and stretchy, which is a good indicator of fertility. But what happens after (to the CM) varies from woman to woman, pregnant or not.
My question is: When have you noticed your CM change from egg-like?
At 6 DPO I noticed a change. I honestly haven’t paid so much attention to my CM before to know if this is just normal or not. I know that it’s just a matter of waiting to take a test, but I’d appreciate any responses.
Sorry if this is Too Much Information.

I noticed a change right away, but didn’t really think much of it as I had no idea I was pregnant. Now, my CM is more “tacky” if that makes sense.
Good Luck!

I know this may not help, but everyone’s timing is a little different. I tend to have egg white like days before ovulation and then it changes a few days afterwards. But then some months when I am really monitoring it, it changes up on me. Either way, I don’t let this factor when I take a test, I still wait for a missed period.

For me the EW CM is literally one day…it goes back to normal/slight/clear after that. It definitely shouldn’t last for 7 days I don’t think.

As others mentioned, it varies with each person. I had egg-like CM for two days and then I was pretty dry.

When do I notice a change FROM egg white? That is a couple days later and I know I have ovulated! Some people have EWCM for a week or so before O, but I was always lucky if I had it for a day or two. Or at least noticeably, because I’m not a cervix checker. My cycles went from AF to sticky to lotiony/creamy to watery to egg white and then to dry and back to mostly tacky/creamy until AF again. I didn’t really even have to temp anymore lol
