@Mimoza:  basically you pretend to be a velociraptor, gently pecking and clawing at the person, until they deem you too crazy to hit on anymore.

@Mimoza:  I have a lot of male gaming friends on facebook. Sometimes some of them persist in sending me private messages (sometimes they are half my age but this has not been a deterrent). I changed the about me page to “engaged and not looking for addtional relationships so please don’t private message me asking “what I am doing” or “slt”. (I think slt is a way on facebook to ask where you are located, I used to think they were trying to call me a slut but left out a letter and I got really pissed off)

I like chatting and talking to people as I am very social but I always make it very clear from the beginning I am in a serious relationship.  I rarely get hit on though as I am always with the SO are bars as we like to drink and party together!

@Mimoza:  In the past when I was hit on, I would just tell them I was married. If they still continued to talk after that, and my hubby wasn’t around, I would chat all night (assuming they were cute and I wanted too).

I define cheating as having sexual contact with another person. Flirting at a bar would not be cheating. It would be a nice ego boost and then hubby would come home to love on me.

I usually just do the good ol’ ignoring. If they say something to me, I just ignore or roll my eyes or something. I try not to be TOO rude, but I just get annoyed. I feel like the “bad boys” are the ones that hit on you and they only want one thing. When I was married, though, I NEVER got hit on LOL. Maybe they saw the rings?

As for cheating, I would say kissing and beyond. But if my soon to be ex husband even spoke to a girl that I didn’t know, I wouldn’t accept it all too well, I just would not call it cheating if he did. He expected the same from me. I only had one really good guy friend for about 10 years(my best friends boyfriend, I introduced them) and I made sure my ex knew who he was and we all double dated and stuff.

I don’t get hit on alot, but when I do, my favorite one-liner is “Sorry, but my husband prefers the other kind of three-some.”  Surprised

I understand how you feel some women cant be bothered. My BF is absolutely gorgerous and men hit on her all the time. I am the friendly type when they hit on me I am gracious and decline any offers but I will sit and have a conversation because not all guys want to have sex some just want to talk to a woman and laugh and enjoy their time in the bar. When we talk and start laughing my BF realizes that it is all in fun and joins the conversation and we generally have a good time.

I dont think have a conversation in a bar would a man is considered cheating if the conversation is light hearted(just two or three people sharing drinks and laughing to past the time away).
