My fiance and I won’t be getting married til March 5th or 2015 due to me being in College and him working in a town an hour and a half away until Feb 2014 and then they will probably start another project somewhere else. I just need to finish college first or I’ll lose my scholarship but I wanted to know when I should start getting small details together like guest list, color palette, we already have a theme and how far in advance does the venue need to be booked? Any details at all on this will help.

You can start dreaming now but I would save the real planning until February 2014 unless you are planning to have the wedding in a city where venues book up over 2 years in advanced (like NYC and LA.)
P.S. Focus on school as much as you can. It’s so much easier to go to school when you are young and have less responsibilities. Once you have bills, a mortgage, and kids, going to shcool is much tougher. Plus, if you are getting all or some paid for with a scholarship you have to maintain good grades to keep it and graduating without debt from college was the smartest thing I did (then I borrowed over $80K for law school. argh!)
