I think it’s really just up to you! If you like the way your dress looks with a necklace, go for it! I don’t think there are any hard and fast “rules” here!

It just depends how it looks to you!  There are no rules.

I think it depends on the style of dress. A lot of glitter doesn’t mean you can’t wear a necklace. But say a lot of glitter and a halter top or something may be much. I don’t think it matters as long you like it.

Mine was something borrowed or I would not have worn one!

Definitely depends on the style, in my opinion!  I mean, a necklace is never required, but necklaces could look appropriate on blingy dress styles, depending on the necklines.  I say, wear the jewelry that you want, and skip what you don’t!

I think if the dress has a lot going on near the top…a lot of beading or a complicated/high neckline then you don’t need a necklace. Sometimes it can be too much

For me it’s really a package deal.

It depends on the dress detail, neckline, earrings, other jewelry, hair etc.

It really does depend on the neckline of the dress, if you are a necklace wearer to begin with… really it’s whatever you want it to be.
