Can you not have it the afternoon before then separate from your Fiance for that night?

I think it’s important for the other two members of your bridal party to be able to attend, you know? With that much notice, I’d hope they could take the afternoon off to do the rehearsal, maybe have a late lunch/early dinner, then part ways. I suppose that might not be feasible for some folks, but I’m sure your friends who are your attendants would like to come, and that way they’ll also know what’s going on that day. : )

Anyway, just a suggestion!

My wedding is July 5, and since the venue is closed for the 4th of July, we’re having our rehearsal July 3, which is a Thursday.  I don’t think it’s a big deal to have it during the week.

I think the Thursday is absolutely fine. If it works out with everyone’s schedule you can have the rehearsal and still stick to your guns about not seeing FH the night before.

We had our rehearsal 3 hours before the wedding…I made everyone come early to take formal photos, and do a quick run through/rehearsal. There was no way our entire wedding party could make it the day before, and I reasoned that if we did it so close to the actual ceremony it would still be fresh in their minds, right? Haha, anyway, that worked great for us, but probably wouldn’t work if you weren’t going to see your Fiance before the ceremony.

zMine will be held oon a Thursday night because I want to have Friday to relax and unwind before the wedding, in latin countires it is traditional to have the rehearsal dinner the Thursday before the wedding, so i think you’ll be fine.

usually the night before I think, but I wanted to relax and have an early night so we’re doing it two nights before! It just means that one of the readers, and the groom’s parents won’t make it, so it’s not too bad…

In this area we usually hold the rehearsal dinner 2 days before.  So if your getting married on a Saturday, you would have the rehearsal on Thursday night.
