i have a very important decision to make and i dont know wht to do :s
as i have to buy my dress online, within 2 months and im on a budget, my choices r limited.
but then i get lucky enough to find a very nice dress, which i really like, and im getting a great deal, and i can have it by next week, and it includes the veil, which saves me more headache… and yes wedding preparation at this point to me is a headache 🙁
orrr i get the dress tht i fell in love with, tht i think represents me, but its for more than double the price, and im not sure even i can get it on time 🙁 and still i have to find a veil and all for it which adds more cost!
the thing is, i really love fashion and i give so much thought in wht i wear on a regular basis, let alone this is my wedding dress !!!! i know that every1 will tell me to folllow my heart!
but then again, if i can get a dress, that i like, and it will look beautiful, and it can save me a considerable amount of money.
so what do u think! i think its 1 of these times where im gonna make the sane decision 🙂

Well, if the pricey dress doesn’t throw off your wedding budget too bad or put you in debt it might be worth it if you really love it that much.
In a slightly different way, I followed my head when it came to my wedding dress. I fell in love with a very simple but elegant Selia Yang dress, but in my head I knew it wasn’t dressy enough for our wedding. So I kept looking and found a beautiful and super fancy dress I also loved, but in my heart I still loved the Selia Yang dress the most. It was totally the right decision for our wedding and I did love my dress, but clearly I was following my head.

I know this may be the unpopular opinion but it is a dress you will wear one time. It needs to be beautiful but it also does not need to break the bank. I would say go with the one that is cheaper, beautiful and you know you will receive on time. You can always bling it up or alter it somehow if it is not just right. The veil should be easy to get with relative speed (which can also be blinged up).

Well, I followed my mind the first time-bought a nice, budget friendly dress. A few months later, I couldn’t take it anymore and bought the dress I really wanted. Thankfully, neither were very expensive but I still ended up spending more than I should have.

I went with my mind… and now the dress is for sale and I’m buying the one my heart told me too… it would have been much cheaper and even more importantly… so much less stressful if I hadn’t followed by head and listened to my heart…

thank you bees, u make me more comfortable making my choice now.
actually my sane choice is pronovias dress, which is the brand i was fixated on getting my dress from coz i simply loved it, and i got it for a great deal, almost 1/3 the price, including veil 😀 oh and its brand new, sooo
the other dress is the allure c157 dress, its beautiful, and its very hard not to fall in love with it, but then again…
and i do agree on the fact that its a 1 time dress, i got 2 dresses for my engagement party, coz we usually those and they r basically miniature weddings. anyways i wore 2 amazing dresses but now theyre just hung there, im never gonna wear those again coz thats just not cool, showing up with ur engagement dress at some1’s wedding or engagement. lol.
so ok, im doing the right thing 😀
