I’m meeting a hairdresser on Wednesday for my second consultation. I’m getting married in October which I know is quite a while off but my hair choice affects whether or not I get a veil, headpiece etc.
When should I arrange my trial?

@linnylou_88: I had to have my trial in April for my August wedding as I live in France and married in the UK. They did it because I had no choice but said it wasn’t ideal because you don’t know how much your hair will grow, if you’ll change your mind beforehand etc.
If you do do it so soon, be sure to get them to take lots of photos if you like it and my hairdresser actually wrote down what she did step by step so she didn’t forget.
I would say about 6 weeks before the wedding is average.

@linnylou_88: I think any time before the wedding should be fine.. although you don’t want to do it too early because there’s more time for you to change your mind in between!
Maybe a month before? It depends on the logistics of it as well – I’m getting married interstate so have no choice but to do my hair trial during the week of the wedding. Not that I mind – a late trial is better than no trial at all, I think!
