(Closed) When should I get my dress bustled?

Is that the only altering you do? I think it’s too early! What if you lose weight and need it taken in?

I don’t think your bustle would change with your weight, you’re not going to grow in the next couple months so as long as you have your shoes, go ahead and get your bustle done.

I didn’t mean the bustle would change b/c of weight. I meant what if she needs additional alterations later and ends up going back. 🙂

I’m getting married in November and having my bustle done late this summer when I get any other necessary alterations done. I’m waiting till then just in case I lose weight. One trip to the seamstress is always easier. :o)

ALSO, make sure you have your crinoline/slip/whatever chosen, not just your shoes. That will make a difference!

I wouldn’t do anything to the dress until alterations at about 6 weeks before the wedding.
