So I’m getting married in France early September. I sent out save the dates in February with website info, etc. I was planning on sending out the invitations in May with a reply date of July 4th (2 months before wedding).
Is May too soon? It’s 4 months before the wedding. Should I sent them out in June and then give people one month to reply? I figured since people have to buy plane tickets they would like the info earlier rather than later but then again everything is already up on the website lol

No I’m having a Destination Wedding in May, I sent mine out in January, RSVP by valentine’s day. Everyone had plenty of time to put in vacation requests, plane tix, hotels, etc.

you sent out the save the dates – did they include any specifics? I would send stuff out as soon as possible so that budget conscious people can sign up for flight alerts and things like that, and have ample time to book their reservations.

the save the dates had the date but then the link to our site which had more info and which now has times, etc.
yea, i guess in this case sending out stuff early isn’t bad…
