Getting married on Saturday and my Momzilla has been nothing but a pain with sending me texts about “it’s gonna rain told you we should have bought a tent or that you shouldn’t have planned an outdoor wedding in March…”
weather.com said high of 55° low of 44
Few Showers, 30% Chance of rain
accuweather says high of 51 and low of 39, chance of rain in the morning is 35% and at night is 53%.
I checked the Farmer’s Almanac a while back and saw none of these concerns.
What should I do? Last week it was freakin’ gorgeous. My event is outdoors in Sumter, SC and I have a pavillion which is 500 ft from where I was having my ceremony but I don’t know how it would fit all 150 of my guests.

I never think it’s a good idea to plan an outdoor wedding with no back up plan. But, do you really even have time to rent a tent at this point? There’s nothing you can do to control the weather, so you’ve got to do whatever you can to control what happens if the weather sucks.
Hoping for a nice, sunny day for you! 🙂

I am with you 🙁 We have a backup plan but honestly, I will be so sad if our ceremony is moved indoors.. But the 10 day forecast which just came out for here is putting the high here at 56 with a 40% chance of rain :/

hey hope your weather wasn’t too bad – spare a thought for this Glaswegian bride getting hitched in 0 degrees and snow on Friday 🙁 the projected forecast was sunny and just a slight chill in the air, now, for the 1st time in 5 bloody years, it’s decided to snow on my parade!
