To @futuremrscap: understood… your Question now makes more sense.

You probably should have stated up front what country you were from when you posted your Question… as Wedding traditions do differ from place to place… and your WBee Profile has no indication of country / place, I automatically assumed you were a North American Bee (solely because that is where most Bees are from)

Hopefully someone will read your Reply # 14, recognize the custom and give you some feedback relative to your situation.

My brother escorted my mom, then came back around and escorted my grandparents

Uh-oh…My parents are divorced and Future Mother-In-Law is a widow. I have no brothers. I guess I can have one of my mom’s brothers escort her? She doesn’t really know the ushers, so that seems odd. Now I have to figure this out!

i think FI’s dad is gonna walk both my mom and his mom down the aisle. either that, or Fiance will walk down with his mom, and FI’s dad will walk down with my mom. it all depends on how wide the aisle is. i’ve gotta go back up to the venue and measure.

My brother escorted my mom right before the wedding party came out. I’ve also seen an usher escort the MOB.

my uncle (mother’s brother) escorted my mom down the aisle (my IL walked in together)

I would say that any male relative/close friend could walk your mom down (directly before the bridal party)

I would assume the usher would show her to her seat along with grandparents and other close family
