(Closed) When should we seek Medical Help?

    Right now, and I second the suggestion about getting a semen analysis called in right away.  I started TTC at 38 1/2 and we’re still trying almost 2 years later.

    rlaura76:  my co-workers daughter, because of her age (39) didn’t have to wait a year to seek medical help.  She was told that because she was already over 35 she only had to TTC for 6 months and if things didn’t happen then she was going to be sent for fertility testing. However she got her BFP before the six months.  You should be able to get some medical advice, if you wanted.  GL 🙂

    rlaura76:  That apt is a good bit away. Could you get your bloods done and the SA done in the meantime? If you do Make sure they check FSH and AMH levels as well as the usual hormone checks. With these at least you know if it’s urgent or if you’ve a bit of time.
