I am thinking having mine 3 months before the wedding (so June next year).  I just figured it would be easier so that anyone coming from out of town would have some downtime between it and the wedding.  But I think maybe 2 months before is a good time.

I was an October bride and my bridal shower was in August.

Typically they are held sometime between 1-3 months before the wedding.  However, it’s really what works best for your and your MOH’s schedule.  I threw a shower for a friend 4 months before her wedding because it was the only time we could do it.  For your situation, I would probably shoot for August, before school starts and everyone gets busy with that.

My wedding is in February, showers in December and January. I didn’t really want to deal with a shower in January but the host insisted.
