I beileve it’s 12 weeks but I could be wrong. During my pregnancy I was under the impression that it was at 12 weeks. And Congratulations 🙂

Yes I think about 12 weeks but you still need to be careful for the whole pregnancy though.

It might help to remember that stress and paranoia don’t make for a healthy pregnancy. Women have been carrying babies and giving birth for millions of years, try to take a breath and believe that any tiny little thing you may not do “by the book” (a book that’s constantly changing, btw) isn’t going to cause you to miscarry.

I’ve read that after you see a heartbeat the risk goes down to around 5%.

13 weeks is when most people say you’re in the clear. However, I’m going to be very frank and honest with you, I waited for that day, and I never really felt better. I think having a loss makes everything so much more amplified. It became much easier to relax around 17 weeks when I started feeling him move. Movement let me know he was alive and doing well. Even still now if I haven’t felt him in awhile I get a little nervous and then will give him a little poke or shake to make myself feel better.

13 is when i heard but 12 is often also considered 2nd trimester. I think you will probably always feel a bit scared but i am glad you got a doppler. I think using the doppler and finding that heartbeat should be your goto until you feel movement. It helped me. I hope your bleeding stops soon and you can enjoy your pregnancy more. sending huge HUGS!

In my OB packet, it’s 14 weeks. We didn’t even announce publicly until we knew the gender at 21 weeks. Even then, I was still super nervous. We told friends on a case by case basis like when I went to tea with friends or my husband told his coworkers after the NT scan. I can feel him move more and more with an anterior placenta. It’s taken quite awhile to feel that reassuring movement. I also poke my guy a bit too to make sure that he’s having a good time in there or drink lemonade. He got really kicky with lemonade.

@jholler25:  Hugs. I don’t know the answer to your question. I worry a lot too and I haven’t had problems yet, well other than the struggle to get pregnant in the first place, so I’m like stick baby stick because I don’t wanna go though IF treatment again. Hopefully you’ll have no more spotting episodes.

My doc said at the end of the twelfth week. Two more weeks left to go till I’m in the zone. Paranoia sucks. 12 weeks is also when I will be coming off metformin and progesterone so super nervous about that myself.

You’re so close to the zone. I know it’s hard when there are risks and medical issues….but you just have to stay positive. Just rest and try and distract yourself a little

I think it’s 13, but honestly while I was a bit relieved I still remained nervous for a long time even with no prior mc’s.  I’m sure you’re nervous, and I think its understandable.  You’ve come such a long way into your pregnancy and I feel very confident that your little nugget is going to stick and hang in there!  Keep using your doppler and see you doc when you need to and it makes you feel better.
