- Wedding: August 2013 - An amazing non-profit retreat
Fiance and I have been through some difficult times lately– not the first, and definitely not the last– To cope, I started finding fault with my ring, because it was something I have some control over. We were finally able to spend some quality time together and things are back on track. This morning, my ring was glowing like when I first saw it.
We were in a coffee shop later on and I pointed out to him how sparkly my diamond was and he wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed me on the head, and I remembered how we chose this ring together, how we were both so excited, and I realized that I can never give this ring up. This is the ring that he loves to fiddle with when we’re holding hands 😉 People can call it “cute” all they want, they can giggle all they want. I don’t care. I will never feel inferior about my ring again because I have found true love and I get to keep him. Not only that, but I was lucky enough to be given a lovely diamond.
