Hello! I am wondering how long in advance I should be booking our honeymoon. After much (and I mean A LOT) of research I think we have decided on Jamaica in mid-October. I still of course can’t decide between 2 resorts and I am literally driving myself crazy all day looking at travel websites AHHHH!!!
Anyway, I have noticed over the past few weeks that prices have gone up and now I am slightly panicking. I am still over 6 months away, but is it better to book earlier?
Also, do you have opinions on which area is better: Montego Bay or Negril?
Any help would be awesome!!

I know that Montego Bay is by the airport so you get noise from that. Negril is farther away, so you have to get from the airport to where you are staying (although many larger resorts offer shuttles) but it is supposed to have the nicest beach on the island.

We just booked our honeymoon last week. We are going to Sandals St. Lucia. There are Sandals resorts in Montego Bay and Negril. They say that if you book with Sandals and the price goes down then you get that price or upgrades.

Unfortunately, Sandals is out of our budget :/

I say the sooner you book your honeymoon the better………..
We still haven’t booked ours but we will middle of this next month (but we are procrastinators). We’re going to Hawaii baby!

She came from a really reliable source and I’m siked if you want you can send me a message and I will give you more info. Just thought I’d help another budget bride to be!!! Good luck.

@superplannerbee: oh and we get our own butler each day of our stay and she had other packages for even $1k less than the one we picked so I know she can find stuff in a reasonable budget for you if you were looking at $andals lol..
