When to buy accessories?

Well, shoes should be decided before alterations.  Hemming will depend on shoe height (unless you are dead set on flats and know you won’t change your mind).

Everything else is just personal preference, I think, and dependent on whether those accessories would affect how you decide to alter the dress.

IDK but three of my bride-friends rented their jewels on Rent The Runway, you might save some dough there!

Shoes and any special undergarments should be bought before and brought to your first fitting.

Otherwise buy them whenever makes you happy and suits your budget. You don’t even need to buy them after your dress, I’ve seen brides know they want the killer shoes or the awesome statement necklace so much that they will tailor their dress to fit the thing they’re in love with.

Absolutely have your shoes before the fitting.

Veil and accessories can wait. ou can get those once you decide your hair style. I knew that I was going  to wear my family heirloom necklace and earrings so I chose my dress according to my accessories.

For the belt, you may want to wait until you have your dress. You may even not need a belt if you decide to go with a statement necklace.

I bought my dress in November ’16 (got lucky at a sample sale, so it’s been hung up in the flat forever), my shoes in December ’16, then I’ve only just bought my hat/fascinator (instead of a veil) and cover up. I got a watch for Christmas ’17 (I can’t go without a watch), and I will be wearing old jewellery.

Wedding is at the end of March.

I am buying my head piece from Etsy. Way cheaper than bridal shops.
