(Closed) When to buy candy for candy buffet?

My wedding is Feb. 2011 and I planned on ordering end of December or early January. But if they are all sealed I imagine you would be fine. I just don’t want to take a chance or have to store for too long. That’s just me.

I wouldn’t order the gummies. They get stale, even in packaging!!

You’ll be fine if you order your hard candy and gummies now. I actually run a candy store, so I can tell you that the non chocolate candies have a really long shelf life. In all honesty, if you order now or in two months, you’ll probably be getting product that’s the same age. Just keep it sealed and in a fairly cool place (like a kitchen cabinet that’s not near your oven or dishwasher), and it will be fine. Good call on waiting to order the chocolate, though.
