Hi Everyone,
Have any of you given jordan almonds out as part or all of your wedding favor? When did you buy them? I don’t want them to be stale or old, but I need sometime for shipping and stuffing them into the bags.
Thanks so much!

Honestly, everytime anyone in my family gets Jordan almonds, in any type of favor, we always throw them out back, for the squirrels. No one in my family likes them. There was a poll on W/B, awhile back, and people were asked to consider their favorite/least favorite food favor, and Jordan almonds was the least favorite. Some people made comments on the line of “I hope to never see them again.”
If you love them, if everyone you know loves them, then go for them. If not, be prepared to see a lot left on the tables. Good luck.

I also agree that many people don’t like jordan almonds, but I do understand that they are traditional in some cultures. I don’t have any idea how long they last, though. But, if you are near a walmart or other store with a party isle, you could check the wedding section and look for a best by used date? If they last on the shelf in the store, they should last in your home.

I’m a greek orthodox bride so jordan almonds are a must. But thanks for the heads up on left over ones. I’ll have one of my BMs collect them at the end of the night because I love jordan almonds (yum yum yum).
