i’m an indecisive bride.
i dont have the money right now to buy a gown.
i’m torturing myself my scouring through bridal gowns on the internet.
i fell in love with one so far, well actually a few, but one that i really wanna go try on.
knowing me, when i try it on i’ll find some type of flaw i dont like about it (again, indecisive)
i have plenty of time since we’re having a 2 yr engagement….
…………..so when do you think would be a good time to start actually shopping??

10 months out is a decent time to start looking. If you really want to try on dresses you can but DO NOT buy anything.

I tend to be indecisive and I was also scared to go shopping (thinking there would be nothing I’d like). I started 7 months out – which was cutting it way too close and caused all sorts of stress. I’d say start shopping now, so you start to get an idea of what you like and what it will cost. That way – you can narrow it down. I’d do your serious shopping about 12 months out… that will also give you room to get the best deal on whatever dress you select.

about 10 months before the wedding, but start saving now!!!
I bought mine 10 months before and in a way I wish I waited. I finally have my fitting in 2 weeks, but its been sitting in the closet staring at me for 4 months!! Talk about torture!! lol

I’m not getting married till september 2012 either but i’ve already tried a few on. I love wedding dresses and am really indicisive too, so far i liked almost everything but I havent loved anything yet. The shop I went to was really understanding about me just wanting to try to get style ideas for now (I change my mind on what shape I want everyday lol), and encouraged me to come back and try more when the new dresses every couple of months until closer to the date. No Harm in looking but I’m not buying till closer (and I wouldnt if i were you either).

I would wait until September or October of next year. New styles will come out that you may be interested in.
