So we’re having dinner, then first dance, then a 3 song chunk where we get everyone up on the dance floor for a group picture (three song chunk is to pay tribute to our favourite tv show)…..then onto father daughter dance, then mother son dance….
When should I change into my reception outfit?
I had someone suggest before the Father/Daughter dance…..
But I’m thinking maybe before the garter toss and make a bit of an entrance?
My reception outfit is a short white dress with one shoulder with awesome blue blinged out heeled shoes…..

I also need to know when it is appropriate to change. I assume you would want your 1st dress on for the dancing but… my issue is I dont really want to eat in it.

We are going to have the introduction of the bridal party and bride and groom, then the first dance. That will be followed by dinner and toasts…. then the cutting of the cake. After that… my niece will change into her reception dress. She’ll have her wedding gown on for all the major photo ops and her reception dress on for dancing, the bouquet toss and the sparkler exit.

@dittobelle: yes, I was thinking of changing after mother/son dance so I will look all sexy for the garter toss 😉
