@ILoveMyKorat:  That’s awesome to have a brutally honest friend willing to go with you!  I understand the situation with the single friend as well … Two of my good friends here are single (but not really looking at the moment), but another of my good friends has been in a relationship for quite a long time (longer than my fiance and I have been together, and we’ve been together for 5.5 years!) and it doesn’t seem as though they’re considering marriage any time soon (though I know she’d like to at some point).  So yeah … Sometimes that can be a little tough.

Good luck with dress shopping!  I hope you find something you love!  (Oh, and I totally understand the wishing you could tone up a bit before getting started!  Haha.)

I’m getting married a week before you so I started looking in July, but didn’t say “yes” until nov …I was super picky so it took me a while, but 8 stores later I’m in love with it Laughing I’m going to start shopping for my bridesmaids dresses right after the holidays and make a decision no later than feb! Good luck!!!

I think you can begin to look around from half an year before your wedding.

We have the same date and I already bought my dress. I actually bought it in September (should be here in February). But that’s because I’m really impatient…I’ve already planned the whole wedding and booked all my vendors 🙂

I got married October 6 of this year. I bought my dress in February and it arrived in July. Just enough time for alterations and everything else. We got bm dresses around June I think, maybe it was may.
