I purchased mine last month and my wedding is the same month as yours. It can take a long time for wedding gowns to arrive, so I’d be ordering a dress ASAP.

jrae05:  I honestly think that the later the better, if you’re havinga long engagement don’t buy early and end up having dress regret.  Take your time to research different brands, decide on what you like and then find out how long their dresses take and shop according to that!

I just bought my dress and we are hoping to get married October 2015 as well. I purchased a lace gown and I was told that it would take at least 8 months to make…so I didn’t want to put it off.

jrae05:  I was told 6-9 months for a wedding dress at my salon but other salons have said 12+ months. Mine came in within 3-4 months so really varies. I would contact your local salons and ask them. I would start looking now!

My wedding is june 2015, and I am going to start looking for a dress next week. I know if I start too early I will just end up second guessing myself.

I’m also October 2015 and I bought mine last month.  It was the first thing I ordered after we booked our reception.  I’ve heard way too many stories about dresses taking forever and unexplained delays and did not want that much stress.
