Okay so my wedding is November 15, 2014!!!
An hour from Philly (I know they say sometimes that makes a difference on when to send something out)
I have not sent out my Save the Dates! When do I send them?
Also when should I send out my invitations and when do I ask to RSVP by?
My venue needs a final head count a month prior and a final menu count 21 days prior. I also want to give myself enough time to hunt down the people who haven’t RSVP-ed or no I just assume their not coming and let it be?

I sent my save-the-dates out about six months before. That seems to be the average in my area/circles. It doesn’t hurt to do it a little earlier if you want.
If your venue needs a final count a month before, I’d give yourself at least a week or two to try to track down people who don’t RSVP. So then it depends on how long you want to give people to reply. Sending invites 10 weeks ahead of time would give them four weeks before RSVPs are due, with a two-week cushion for you to track down other RSVPs. Six to eight weeks is customary, so that would only be slightly more but still pretty in line with the norm. Just my thoughts though!
