I say email them right now and tell them that if you don’t hear back by this time tomorrow, you’ll make the choice without their feedback.

Just check in with them–I talk to all of my BMs at least once a week anyway–we’re friends and we talk to each other.  Just say “Hey I never heard back about the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress–do you want to make a choice or should I just do it?”

You can send them a reminder email now if you’d like.  However, if your wedding isn’t until March 2013 I would hold off on making any decisions.  So much change between now and then.  You might change your preference on colors or BMs can gain or lose weight or get pregnant and thus dresses that they liked might not work any more.  You can get a feel now, but I wouldn’t select anything until later this fall.

I’m with Runswithbears.  I understand that you want to know what they will look like the day of the wedding, but you really shouldn’t ask them to order anything until closer to your wedding date anyway.

@zomgwut:  I agree.  I’d call them and touch base.  You probably have a better chance of getting the info you’re looking for, since a couple of them haven’t been that responsive to the email in the first place.  A casual phone conversation might be a better approach for them.

Since they’re ordering online, I assume that means none of them will get to actually try on the dress before ordering? Could that possibly be the reason for the delay? I would be very hesitant to spend $100+ on a dress that I would be in lots of pictures in but had never tried on- dresses can look really different on the person buying than they do on a model.
