Bees my Baby Shower is 8 weeks away and we are leaving for FL in 3 weeks. We will be back about 2 weeks before my shower. When should I send out the Baby Shower invites. Is 6 weeks to soon? I have an RSVP in them so we will know how much food it is a super small shower though more like a sprinkle. We have 15 people on the guest list all close family and a few very close friends. My Mother-In-Law likes to buy early and we only have a little over 30 items on our registry. Should I just give her the invite and registry info now? Bees I need your thoughts.

@MarryMeTiffany: i’d def invite Mother-In-Law first and early. She is one of the most important guests since its her grandchild’s shower so yeah, i’d give her dibs on the registry.
I am inviting everyone 3 weeks in advance…but EVERY item on my registry is IN the store so I am not too worried about online shoppers.

We sent ours out 4 weeks b/c we had an online registry and I wanted to be sure to have enough time for shipping, but I think 3-4 weeks is plenty of time.

@MarryMeTiffany: We’ll be sending invites out about 3 weeks in advance but I’d definitely tell you Mother-In-Law sooner. My parents and DH’s parents know all of our baby shower dates so that they can plan ahead.
