dee424: Well if you are at the point where you want to order invitations then I would call them up and ask. You want to make sure that you give your guests plenty of time to RSVP but also give yourself at least 5 days between RSVP date and deadline for headcount to track down anyone who hasn’t given you an answer.

dee424: RSVP date depends on when your venue needs numbers. If they need them June 30, youd put down at least a week beforehand.
Send them two months from your date.

dee424: I am getting married July 1st. We have a meeting early to mid June with our venue and when we need a head count. So I buffered in about 2 weeks for us to track people down (I know we will have a lot we will have to track down from past parties rsvps). Anyways, I am planning on mailing mine out by April 19th at the very latest. I will try to get them in the mail that saturday (the 16th if possible). For you I would say have your RSVP be the 4th or 11th of June (again have that per when you need your head count). Then mail your invites around the 16th of April.
