Our wedding is a little over 8 months away and I was planning on sending them about 8 months out. Now I’m thinking maybe that’s too soon and people won’t really pay attention to them. Do you think I should wait longer?
Thanks for your input!

@astuve812: I plan on sending mine either in about 2 weeks (so they arrive to people BEFORE I see them next month when I go home) but more likely I will send them at the beginning of September after I get home so about 8 months out. We’re having a semi Destination Wedding, it’s in Toronto, guests are all over the country so the majority of guests need to make travel arrangements.

@MsGinkgo: Date Twins!!
We sent ours today! Though most people don’t have far to travel..almost everyone will have to travel at least 50 miles to get to our wedding. I know a lot of them will want to book hotel rooms and just spend the night so I wanted to get that information out as soon as possible.
We also have guests from all over the country and a few international, so we wanted everyone to have lots of time to plan. Our weekend is also graduation weekend in a big college town – something else we wanted guest to be able to plan for ..so we had many reasons for sending them out now.
Plus I keep having people ask me for information almost weekly! They seem anxious to book/plan so I figured we’d let them!

I plan on sending mine out at the beginning of the year; so mine will be 9-10 months. However we are (most likely) having a semi-destination wedding and I want to give everyone a really good heads up 🙂
