i would do it now as to not forget in the future, with all the wedding craziness and all the hundreds of other thankyou cards<3

The gold standard is to thank gift givers before you go to sleep on the night the gift is received.

  I would go ahead and send it. If it is a wedding gift, then you got one thank you note out of the way early! If it isn’t, then you can send it and not have to worry about if it came too late. If you aren’t sure if it is a wedding or shower gift, just thank them for giving the gift. I was at a shower this past weekend and received the thank you note today. I know that is highly unusual, but I was surprised that it came so early.

Do it now so you don’t forget.  Plus I am always SO HAPPY when I get a thank you note immediately.  My friend sent me a thank you note from her shower before I was able to give her gift to her (accidentally left it under the cat >.<)

I would do it now – especially if they didn’t give it to you in person, they might be left wondering whether the package ever arrived.

right away! I say always send the thank you notes as soon as possible, people like to know you got it and be aknowledge, and if you put it off it they will build up and you may forget
