Well I am newly engaged though I’ve been married before. I need to lose alot of weight (my biggest issue) but I am starting to go to the dentist for teeth/alignment right away. I found that waiting to close to the date makes you a little insane lol. I have awhile still but whitening is important to me, so I’m thinking now would be a good time for you to do the whitening. Regular facials are great anytime. I do a mud mask from the little packets I found at Kroger to save some money and they are awesome! About $2 a packet. Can’t beat that.

I have so far done two microdermabrasions, and have scheduled a peel in about a week, and I am just over eight months away from the wedding. My main thing issue is having flawless skin for my wedding day. That is seriously all I am concerned about, but I’m sure teeth whitening will be a worry probably much closer to the date…

There are 3 things I will be focusing on before the wedding, and I’ve started already.

  • perfect, flawless skin- I have a routine already for my skin. I cleanse it every single night, no exceptions! lather it up with my fav creams, and exfoliate regularly. I do masks, massages. I am kinda obsessed.
  • straight white teeth- I had braces put on in Oct just for the wedding but I should have had braces when I was in highschool. My teeth were really crowded.
  • toned arms for my sexy strapless wedding dress.

That’ll be it pretty much. I always give myself mani’s and pedi’s regularly. I’m an aesthetician so I love doing my nails all the time!

@navyblueandyellow:  I wouldn’t start any new products unless you’re at least 3 months away from the wedding.. so now would be a good time to start.

I wouldn’t do anything too crazy… like for example if you can’t afford to get regular facials, don’t start now. Buy masks you can do at home, and find a good skincare routine for your skin type if you haven’t already. Basically don’t fix what isn’t broken… and only address real problem areas if you have any. It would suck if you discovered something that made your skin look awesome and then couldn’t afford to keep it up after the wedding. New products can also cause irritation and break you out so be careful.

I always do my own mani/pedis regularly so that won’t change. You should really do your fingernails every couple of weeks, and your toes at least monthly IMO.

I would start whatever you want to achieve now in case something isn’t working, takes longer than expected or irritates your skin.

I’m Jan 2014 & next month I’m starting teeth whitening & the Olay cleansing brush system. I’ll also go totally off soda, drink tons more water (already need to!) & start evening primrose oil as that is supposed to be great for skin.

And then sit ups and arm stuff!!

Man I’m 4 months out and haven’t really done anything. Guess I’m slacking! 🙂

@RiverBride13:  I feel ya! I haven’t started much of anything yet. I know I need to lose about 15 pounds in the next 4 months. Going to take some vitamins that really help with my hair and nails. Besides that, I won’t start a tan/teeth whitening or stuff like that probably until mid-March or early April.

I’m 90 days away exactly and I just started this week with my diet and diy teeth cleaning. I’ll probably start my face routine mid January. I’m not too worried about anything but I’m also a huge slackerFoot in Mouth

I am almost 10 months out.  I had a series of three microdermabrasions.  I can already see in pictures that my skin is glowing more.  I have taken to exfoliating my skin.   I had also started using a new moisturizer.  My makeup artist told me to go about a month before my wedding for another facial.  The woman that also did my microderm said to stay out of the sun 🙁  So I guess I am going to try spray tanning.  I also plan on getting my teeth whitened but not for a few more months.
