I’ve been doing peels (originally a four layer vitamin c peel, now onto a stronger lactic peel) about once a month (for about three months now). I’ve noticed a HUGE difference (I have rosecea and inflamation as well as occasional break outs. My pores also look smaller) and I intend on continuing with peels/facials indefinitely. My wedding is in one year, so I feel pretty confident that I have a good start.

As for microdermabrasion: I used to get this done (a few years ago) but needed to start out with a “mini peel” series to prep my skin. Honestly, I’ve noticed better results this time around (with the different type of peel). I suggest seeing an esthetician or doctor to see what they suggest.

Best wishes! I hope you find what works well for you 🙂

I’ve been getting microdermabrasion once a month for 6 months, and it really helped my skin.  Giving up soda and drinking more water helped a lot too
