I was seeing a naturopath, so when I got my bfp I called her and she told me to stop taking my herbal mix with vitex in it at that point. But as you say, there is conflicting information, so this is just one more piece, probably 🙂 All the best!

My situation was a bit different, I was simply taking 100mg of B6 and a B-Complex vitamin daily for my LP defect.  I continued to take them until I hit the 12 week mark. I’m glad I kept going b/c I truly believe the B6 helped me get no morning sickness 🙂

B6 is prescribed for morning sickness and totally safe. I didn’t use vitex because you really should be seeing a professional using it but its my understanding that you should stop as soon as you get a positive test (and you really should try and test early like at least 10 dpo).

I started taking B6 at 8 weeks pregnant and am still taking it daily, at 16 weeks. MS lifesaver!

I read all those conflicting “rules” too – I think what I’ll do is wean off the vitex after O.  If I don’t get a bfp I’ll start up the vitex again once AF shows up.  Seems safer to do that than to just quit cold turkey once you see a bfp.
