I think it might be a personal preferance and a trial and error type of thing.

We CD so we will not be using these, but my neighbor has an 18 month old who is still in regular Luv’s diapers. Our other neighbor has a little girl that I believe is close to a year and she is also still in regular diapers. Their babies are very mobile at these ages, but they still use regular diapers. I’m assuming it is just what works for them. Good luck! I love a good sale 🙂

I switched to Slip-Ons when he was standing with good balance. It made changes quicker b/c he was so ready to be up and off.  Not sure about trying to get them on with the baby laying down though, might be more of a hassle than a regular diaper.

We started using them when Dirty Delete started squirming too much when we changed her that we could hardly fasten the diapers. I think she was about 16 months.

We really like them and couldn’t think of going back but DD’s daycare prefers regular diapers over pull ups because they can be put on without taking off pants or tights.

You can pull the sides apart and put them back together like a regular diaper if you need to… it resticks and stays (on the slip-ons)
