**sorry if some of the details below are tmi, I am just trying to provide good information in hopes of getting an accurate answer
Hello, I was hoping for a little help here. I stopped taking hormonal birth control pills in December, my last period started on December 20th. I had been on the pill for 8 years straight, before going on it my cycles were never regular. I took several ovulation tests around when I expected to see the LH surge but I did not get a positive. I kept watch for other signs of ovulation, but I did not continue using the ovulation strips (which I am really regretting, I also have not been tracking my temperature). Around January 18th I saw cervical mucus which I believe could be defined as egg-whitey (but that could just be in my head). Then on January 26th I had the smallest amount of dark blood spotting, just a few drops and I have not had any more since then. I took a first response pregnancy test this morning and did not see a pink line (I thought I saw a whitish line at first but it slowly went away, or I was tired and imagining it). I have 2 more tests on hand to use, and I’m wondering when I could test with them in hopes of getting a positive as early as possible (if I really could be pregnant–do the symptoms described line up, or could they possibly just be messing with me and all part of having irregular cycles and or coming off birth control?). I have never been pregnant before and he has never gotten anyone pregnant before, so we are both quite excited and I’m terribly impatient.
thanks to anyone who took the time to read this and takes the time to respond!
