I absolutely LOVE the cliche Bride hoodie from VS!! When is it normal to start wearing that kind of stuff? Is there an unwritten rule about sporting the “Bride” wear? I don’t want people to roll their eyes (unfortunately I do care). What’s the verdict?
I was starting to get a lot of “other” votes, and I think it was because I put 1 month after, so I took that away from the poll. On that note… how long can I wear this thing after the wedding??

I wouldn’t imagine someone would wear that other than on their wedding weekend and maybe honeymoon 🙂

I think you can get away with wearing it as long as your wedding is less than a year away. For example, if people saw you wearing it and asked when the date was, you’d have to specify October NEXT YEAR. Once you can just say “October,” go for it! 🙂

I chose honeymoon and month after because when I think of the bride attire, I think of the morning after wedding, the airport going to and fro honeymoon, lounging during honeymoon, and a little after you get home from honeymoon. After that IMO you are wife, not a bride anymore! I think you can still wear it a month before the wedding too! I definately wouldn’t judge :).
All of this is just my opinions and thoughts since there are no rules for these types of things lol!

I’ve really only seen girls wear this type of hoodie on the morning of the wedding, or on the honeymoon, but I guess it’s really whenever you feel like it!

I think wedding weekend, or other wedding-related weekends. I could see you wearing it the day-of a bridal shower or bachelorette party… or also when you are off doing wedding related things. If it isn’t your wedding weekend, and you aren’t doing something specific for the wedding, then I think I’d roll my eyes. Like if you went out to lunch with friends, and you wore that… I’d think you were all about the attention. You are the bride, but you don’t deserve the attention 24/7 for a year! Super cute hoodie though! 🙂

@WhiteViolet: If you reeeeeally want to get maximum use out of this, then wear it whenever you have casual wedding-related activities:
- bachelorette daytime lounging
- at the spa with your BMs (if you’re having one)
- dress shopping
- registry shopping
- various dress fittings/alterations
- wedding week activities/prep
- on the plane to honeymoon
That’s all I can think of 🙂 You might get sick of it if you wear it during all of these, though!

I agree with PP. Wedding related events and actual wedding/honeymoon are pretty much the only time. I’m buying the silk robe that says bride from VS and i’m only wearing it the wedding day and the honeymoon, even though its like $60. WORTH IT!

Wedding day while you get your hair done & get ready. Wedding weekend & honeymoon too. I’ll say I wear my bridesmaid hoodie all the time. It’s a cute black hoodie has my nickname on the front.

I wore mine to travel in to our Destination Wedding and the day of getting ready and to travel back home in but that was the only time I wore it. There aren’t any rules so wear it whenever you want really!!

Lol this is one of those instances where people unfamiliar with wedding abbreviations would probably go, “Uhh, what?!”
