TheLadyA :  They are so amazing, mesmerizing. I feel like it’s something about how it comes from nature and the sunlight on it, I just don’t even know how to explain.

TheLadyA :  I’d love to see a pic of her ring, sounds beautiful! And I think that sounds like a great compromise.

The only thing that’s concerning me about a pave wedding band is the prospect of losing stones. My current stand-in (when I’m not wearing the garnet) is a blue topaz/diamond halo/pave band, and I’m always worried I’ll knock one of them out of the setting…and they don’t even go all the way around! (I definitely want a full eternity band.) I think something bezeled would be a good way to get the bling I want without having to worry about safety. We both went with plain solitaires for our erings, so sparkly bands are definitely in the cards!

I just got my ring yesterday, and all day today I looked for different light sources just to watch it sparkle. I even refused to walk in the shade (it’s 110 degrees outside) just so I can admire it in the sun lol. My Fiance thinks I’m crazy, but at the same time he’s proud to have gotten me a ring I love so much. Embrace your obsession!

Maybe never! I’ve been engaged almost a year (wedding next month!) and everytime I look at my ring I’m so grateful he took the time to find out what I liked and to get me a ring I love! Not to say that I wouldn’t love it if he completely surprised me, but nontheless…. funny, I went to get my reception dress tailored today at the seamstress, and saw a bunch of other brides getting their wedding dress fitted, and couldn’t help smiling at the other beautiful brides to be! Also don’t tire of look at wedding dresses, lol!

TheLadyA :  I live in Abu Dhabi, so it’s a desert climate.
