On the outer envelope we put Ms. First name last name

and on the inner envelope wrote First name and Guest

I would just put the name of the person you’re inviting on the envelope and then the plus 1 on the actual invite x

@shaunna: No room on the invites? Not enough to put & Guest? I got a fold out invitation (no inner and outer stuff) that had Ms. My Name and to the side (in an awkward position) it said & Guest. You can do it, it may not look amazing, but you can 🙂

I personally just put ‘Ms. Firstname Lastname’ and on the RSVP card put ____ out of __2__ guests…

I had this same question but my invites are self mailers so there is no inner/outer envelopes.  Anyone know how to do this properly without the two envelopes?

You shouldn’t write “and guest” anywhere.  You should find out the names of your guests escorts and write those names on the envelope.
